The Tallis is nice, but I don't know of any Tenebrae setting as hauntingly beautiful as the Gregorian one, which I shared a part of in a post from last year - said post also includes another piece you might like: a Tenebrae-inspired motet that Rudolf Mauersberger composed to honor the memory of those who died in the firebombing of Dresden, "Wie liegt die Stadt so wüst."
