Ain't My Enemy

I have never been able to understand why I am supposed to hate this man, much less his countrymen — Ahmadinejad tells U.N. ‘uncivilized Zionists’ are threat to Iran; U.S. boycotts address.

"The current abysmal situation in the world and the bitter incidents of history are due mainly to the wrong management of the world and the self-proclaimed centers of power who have entrusted themselves to the devil." Amen.

Did you catch the end of his speech?

In addition to his invocation of the Mahdi, he looks forward to the return of Jesus Christ.

I wonder how much air time the words "Jesus Christ" got and will get at the UN this week.

Of course, there is a fundamental problem with the "peaceful" Iranian nuke program: they have some of the largest oil reserves in the world, but no refineries. Iran imports its petroleum fuel. If Iran would have built a refinery instead of the nuke program, they'd be taken a bit more seriously.

Still, this is all mainly a Semitic (Israeli and Saudi)- Persian fight.

Or, another way of putting it: it is a Zionist & Salafist fight against the Shia.

Politics (eschatalogical or otherwise) makes strange bedfellows.

Not my fight.
