Funny, I had no idea the memorial was coming up, and just this past week I had "Murder in the Cathedral" on my mind.
BTW - I recently came across Mendelssohn's "St. Paul Overture." I picked up Bach's "Wachet Auf" (Sleeper's Awake) tune - especially from the 2/3 point on. I had been unaware of a connection between the two composers, but apparently Mendelssohn helped in reviving Bach. Check it out:
