The Saud family doesn't pull any punches at all when people in their fiefdom pee in their cornflakes. If I knew they were really upset at me - and causing big problems in the US would be such a reason - I'd much rather be in an American prison than a Saudi one.

The first Saudi got his big break when he climbed over a city walls, got into the house of the governor, and slit his throat. Not for nothing do they have a sword on their flag. Recently they had to declare a moratorium on executions because their executioners were worn out chopping heads off in public.

What I think is likelier is that a search found that the man in question had very emotional literature criticizing US foreign policy, which would oblige any Homeland Security bureaucrat to determine that the person in question was in danger of "self-radicalizing."

By this standard more than a few Americans with ancestors on the Mayflower would have to be deported.
