Not Your Father's Pot

Gavin McInnes, who "quit smoking weed because when you have kids, you need to be on call in case someone has a nightmare," illuminates with this article most of which "was written—and published unedited—after half a toke of today’s weed" — Has Pot Become a Hard Drug? Wow. And I remember in the 80s hearing how much stronger the pot was than that of the 60s.

One of the key aspects of a conservative approach to life is the willingness to alter one's views in the light of experience. With this verification that marijuana is actually a dangerous and remarkably potent drug (something that Peter Hitchens has written extensively about), are you re-thinking your views on legalization?

My own views on decriminalization shifted dramatically after seeing what happened in my own city when the police basically stopped enforcing the law on marijuana several years ago. The zombification was pronounced, as was the dramatic spike in property crime and criminal assaults on the street.
