The Civil Wars Perform "The Star Spangled Banner"

Weather permitting, we, too, will be at a ball game tomorrow. This previous post gives the history of this rendition, a waltz no less — The Civil Wars Perform "The Star-Spangled Banner".

A lovely rendition. I wonder if it carried any more weight considering they are called "The Civil Wars" and they were performing in Atlanta. By the way, I know you love baseball so if you haven't watched "Baseball" by Ken Burns you really should. Someone posted all the episodes online. I put them on my blog. Check it out:

Thank you. Your previous blog was great and when you switched to the Pittsford Perennialist I was a bit skeptical, but its probably even better. Love the music selection and links to articles. I never would've found Taki's Magazine without your links. Keep up the good work.
