Bob Weir & The National Perform "Help on the Way," "Love Thine Enemy," "Looks Like Rain," "El Paso," "Friend of the Devil," "Cassidy," "Daughters of the SoHo Riots," "My Brother Esau," "Me and My Uncle," "Fake Empire," "Most of the Time," "Brown Eyed Women," "The Other One," "Standing on the Moon," "China Cat Sunflower," "I Know You Rider," "Ripple," "Uncle John's Band," & "Brokedown Palace"

Wow. Deadhead though I briefly once might have been after they transformed my hometown (Grateful Dead Live at Rich Stadium on 1986-07-04), I never gave much thought to this gentleman whom I now revere as a Bodhisattva after watching The Other One: The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weir (2014).

Cool that not only The National but also Sonic Youth pay homage to this great guitarist, about whom Sammy Hagar, of all people, says, "If you don't have an ego, you can be the best Number Two on the planet."

Thanks, Tubbs. Been a busy summer. I wasn't planning a hiatus, but it happened. I'll start reposting soon.
