"Athena Reborn"

Chateau Heartiste informs us of a pop singer's deification — ‘Alt-right’ white supremacists have chosen Taylor Swift as their ‘Aryan goddess’ icon, through no fault of her own.

About the website in question, one should read a line like "The Southern Poverty Law Center dubbed it a 'neo-Nazi website' and one of the two most popular 'hate sites' online," since the SPLC has for decades been [in]famous for justifying its own existence by suggesting that's it's always 1933 in Amerika. To suggest the singer is "a pure Aryan goddess, like something out of classical Greek poetry," is harmless fanboy talk; calling a black pop singer an "African goddess" would hardly bat an eye. Far more interesting, since it hints at conspiracy, is the idea that "Swift is covertly ‘red-pilled,’ concealing her secret conservative values from the progressive music industry while issuing subtle nods to a reactionary fanbase."

Why Trump?

Dennis Regan, writing to the Rochester City Newspaper, explains — Feedback 5/25:
    Trump is a symbol

What is stunning to me is that so many in the media don't recognize that Trump is nothing more than a symbol that we're fed up with politics as usual. Even Trump with all his flaws is preferable to the same old garbage we keep receiving from career politicians.

I see this election as a turning point for America, and hope that gradually we'll move away from our present two-party system filled with self-serving hypocrites. Maybe this will ignite a revolution that will restore the glory to this once-great nation.

Instead of being "general managers of the universe," why don't we focus our efforts, money, and manpower here at home? It's time for men and women of all ages to stop putting up with today's political nonsense and improve America as a nation, not an empire.

The Seven Sisters

My favorite constellation is in the news — Pleiades setting through Sappho’s eyes. "Sappho," the article reports, "a reknowned poet from the Greek isle of Lesbos, wrote a poem over 2,500 years ago describing the Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters. Scientists have now use astronomical software to determine the time of year of her viewing that cluster, which is a popular object for viewing even today." Here's the poem:
    The moon has set,
    and the Pleiades;
    it is midnight,
    the time is going by,
    and I sleep alone.

Three Sisters at Home

"The sisters turned domestic constraints into grist for brilliant books" — The Brontës’ Secret. An excerpt:
The sisters’ social and economic disadvantages didn’t hold them back. Charlotte and Emily explored—and exploited—the prison-house of gender [sic] with unprecedented clear-sightedness. It so happens that the sisters had a good deal of “practical experience,” and they didn’t like it one bit. Pushed out into the world, they came home as fast as they could, and in their retreat from society found the autonomy to cultivate their altogether original voices.

Teri Gender Bender Performs "I'm Getting Sick Of You"

Teri Gender Bender, despite her stage surname, is a cis-gender woman, pura mujer, at least as far as my untrained eyes can tell from the following slapsticky NSFW video, in which she appears butt-naked from start to finish — Adanowsky & Teri Gender Bender (Le Butcherettes) - Don't Try To Fool Me.

She's also cis-Mexican, and, judging from her complexion, very much on display in the aforementioned video, in which she appears, I repeat, butt-naked from start to finish, very cis-White, i.e. cis-European, or what Steve Sailer would call a "Conquistador-American," or I would call cis-Conquistador-American.

Below, plugged-in, made-up, backed by her band, and not butt-naked from start to finish but wearing the same dress and the same stockings from the above posted video (not the one in which she appears, again, butt-naked from start to finish), with her signature bloody apron, she performs the same number:

Caitlyn Jenner Has Inspired Me to Come Out of the Closet

Over at the LRC Blog*, Thomas DiLorenzo informs us of what will become of "Caitlyn Jenner if she 'de-transitions,' as is rumored" — The Most Hated Woman in America? Following up on this unexpected turn of events in what must be the most important story in the history of our Republic, I read somewhere that Jenner kept her male genitalia, a phrase if one were to think it strange would be a hate crime.

To verify this male genitalia business, I went to Wikipedia's "Caitlyn Jenner" page, where a lot of insights can be gained. Yes, Jenner has "neither undergone sex reassignment surgery nor ruled it out." Thus, Jenner is what we used to call a transvestite, which, the "[o]fficial definition from the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language" tells us is "[a] person who dresses and acts in a style or manner traditionally associated with the opposite sex," which, like all those Y-chromosomes, would imply that Jenner is male. "Most transvestites," we learn, "are NOT homosexuals, however," and this is also true of Jenner, who "has never been sexually attracted to men, but has instead always been sexually attracted to women," something I can relate to.

What I cannot relate to is using the pronoun "she" with a guy who decides to dress in women's clothes one day, which is Wikipedia did with its "Chelsea Manning" page the day after Bradley said he was a girl, which is all it takes. Read the section on Jenner's Olympic career for the hilarious lengths it goes to avoid the use of any pronoun, which is perhaps is where we are going linguistically. "She won the men's decathlon" would still sound weird to our bigoted ears.

Like Jenner, Manning, too, has only "discussed having surgery." Call me old-fashioned, but using the pronoun "she" with a human being who not only has a Y-chromosome in every cell but also the full male genital package seems premature. Maybe I just never understood the whole chick with a dick thing, but I would even feel weird using "she" with a guy who has undergone so-called "sex reassignment surgery," which is a far more balls-to-the-walls (pun intended) option than just putting on a dress. Get back to me when they can change every Y-chromosome to an X-chromosome.

What has me coming out of the closet is this statement of Jenner's: "I have gotten more flak for being a conservative Republican, than I have for being trans." I am not a conservative, and I became a Republican only so I could vote for Ron Paul (and happily neglected to leave the party, allowing me to vote for Donald Trump), but try having an opinion anywhere on the political right at an American university, where I work, and see what happens. Four years ago, the intelligent libruls who surrounded me were convinced that a man who had been elected governor of the most liberal state in America of elected president would turn the country into The Handmaid's Tale.

So, if Jenner, speaking of Trump, "thinks he would be good for women's issues" and can thus be a spokesperson for women, the statement about getting "more flak for being a conservative Republican... than... for being trans" surely speaks to the victimhood of those of us on the right, and the right for us to have our own safe spaces. Come Monday, I will come out of the closet as a Trumpster.

*Lew Rockwell's Bill Sardi asked, "I want to know who is pushing the transgender agenda in America," noting, "The news media was re-introducing Bruce Jenner to America months before he announced he would undergo a sex-change" — The America I Woke Up to This Morning.

Return of Black Mob Violence to Lilac Festival

Racially-charged names like "Calvin Jackson," "Keshawn Gooden," and "Michael Johnson" (the reincarnation of the Ferguson-suicide-by-cop guy?) have been excised from most local media, so it is to a neighboring city one needs to go to get this fuller report on the violnce that included gunshots which marred our fair city's premier cultural event — 10 arrested at Lilac Festival in Rochester; video shows chaos sparked by fights.

Sadly, this is not new, as these stories from 2015, 2014, and 2013 respectively attest — Black Mob Violence Spreads as the President Preaches Victimization in Selma, Black Mob Violence in Rochester: Get Used To It, and Shhh: Don’t tell anyone: Rochester? Long term black mob violence.

As a public service announcement, an excerpt from John Derbyshire's The Talk: Nonblack Version:

    (10) Thus, while always attentive to the particular qualities of individuals, on the many occasions where you have nothing to guide you but knowledge of those mean differences, use statistical common sense:

(10a) Avoid concentrations of blacks not all known to you personally.

(10b) Stay out of heavily black neighborhoods.

(10c) If planning a trip to a beach or amusement park at some date, find out whether it is likely to be swamped with blacks on that date (neglect of that one got me the closest I have ever gotten to death by gunshot).

(10d) Do not attend events likely to draw a lot of blacks.

(10e) If you are at some public event at which the number of blacks suddenly swells, leave as quickly as possible.

Dalai Lama More Catholic Than the Pope on Europe's Rapefugee Crisis?

What, I asked him, does he think of the European backlash against migration? “In the name of sympathy, for the few who are desperate, [resettlement] is worthwhile.” But Europeans, he continued, “have a right to be concerned for their own prosperity.” Better, he said, “to help people in their own land” [emphases mine - BODO]
This spake "the 14th reincarnation of the Lord of Compassion" to Michael Gerson — The Dalai Lama’s practical path to peace. It is good to see a religious leader acknowledge that there are "few who are desperate." Certainly not the hundreds of thousands of fighting-age men who if they had any decency, would be staying at home defending their women and children. Also, "to help people in their own land" is solid spiritual advice. The Principle of Subsidiarity is one Catholic teaching that was adopted, if even in name only, by the E.U.

In contrast, the last time I heard Pope Bergoglio speak on the subject it was to acknowledge that "we can talk about an Arab invasion" and then in the same breath to ask Europeans to "go forward and find itself enhanced by the exchange among cultures," which I posted two months ago — Popes and Mohammedan Invasions, Then and Now. This prompted me to ponder whether the women and girls at the Cologne Cathedral felt "enhanced by the exchange among cultures" during the New Year's Eve sexual assaults in Germany.

Speaking of lamas and popes, here an old post of mine in which a comedian concludes that "the Pope's more 'right on' than the Dalai Lama" about sex — Pope John Paul II, the Dalai Lama, and Sex.

Ilana Mercer on Donald Trump's America First Policy

"My goal is to establish a foreign policy that will endure for several generations centered on prioritizing America first," said the next President of the United States — Trump’s America First Policy: Remarkably Sophisticated. "Remarkably," writes Ms. Mercer, one of the few thinkers I know to still call herself a paleolibertarian, "our foreign-policy maze-bright rats see this Trump stance as unsophisticated." She continues:
To the contrary: Trump’s foreign policy evinces a sophisticated understanding of the role of government in the lives of a free people.

The duty of the “night-watchman state of classical-liberal theory” is primarily to its own. The classical liberal government’s duty is to its own citizens, first.

As Americans, we have a solemn, negative, leave-them-alone duty not to violate the rights of foreigners everywhere to life, liberty and property.

We have no duty to uphold their rights. Why so? Because (ostensibly) upholding the negative rights of the world’s citizens involves compromising the negative liberties of Americans—inalienable American lives, liberties and livelihoods.

Another Apoplectic Atheist

This one a caller to this local radio show about an organization "trying to bring Christian values into public schools by helping teachers understand the law, and to spread their Christian faith without crossing legal lines" — Connections: Bring Jesus Back To Public Schools?

The shrill caller's "argument," starting at the 41:15 mark, amounts to saying that this group "going right up to the edge" in these church-state matters is equivalent to empowering the State to have "churches closed and bibles burned in the streets." False analogy, for example equating belief in Aristotle's Unmoved Mover to belief in a tooth fairy, seems to be a prime method of reasoning among these self-styled "rationalists."

Someone once pointed out the shrillness Richard Dawkins's voice takes on when he turns from discussing biology to promoting his religious beliefs. One hears the same tone in many fundagelicals, perhaps aware that their belief system is a house of cards.

Which Alternative für Deutschland?

"German Left Satirizes Anti-Invasionists [a]s people who believe in traditional families" is how Lew Rockwell's Political Theatre summarizes the image on the left, above, from this article — Sparks Fly In German Press As Treatment Of Muslims Hits "Gunpoint". On the left from "Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine, which just came out with a cover story to 'reveal' how uncharacteristically conservative the AfD is, titled 'How the AfD wants to live', with a picture showing a retro family with dog and 3 kids," and on the right, the right's satirical response.

Of course, there is nothing wrong and everything right about the image on the left, to any right-thinking person. I was going to say the same of the picture on the right, that there is nothing wrong for such an image in the countries of the Dar al-Islam, that it is just not the right image for Germany, which is what different countries are for, but then I remembered the woman and girl, if that is indeed what there is under those grotesque sacks. There is something grossly wrong with that image.

Never in Germany, not even in the misnamed Dark Ages, nor anywhere else within the Hajnal line, where the Western European marriage pattern prevails, have our womenfolk suffered anything close to the dehumanization they suffer in current times in every Islamic country. For the sake of our women, their safety, and the rights they have enjoyed from time immemorial as co-creators of our civilization, we must keep our borders closed to these barbaric invaders.

A story from the same source above indicates that the German authorities are not interested in upholding women's most basic right, the right to safety, and are thus illegitimate — German Coverup Scandal: Ministry Urged Erasing "Rape" From "Monstrous" Cologne Migrant Attack Report.
